15,000 climate scientists have been warning us for decades that we are destroying the climate. Ideologues and politicians and businessmen have been making excuses for decades—to ignore the crisis and expand fossil fuels.

We are beginning to see it now. Some are still in denial, making excuses.

That’s kind of insane. But I understand it. There’s a kind of tunnel vision, even among smart people.

Still, we must stabilize the climate and address the emergency.
