#6 is wrong. There will be a nonviolent revolution that will demand complete and meaningful action to stabilize the climate. This will be carried out by a large, active minority who will not compromise on the future of their children or the Earth.
It will be sudden and unexpected, like the fall of the Soviet Union.
The huge unrecognized roiling force is the love of parents for their children. While everybody is paying attention to the insane Trump extremists, much more important things are happening—unobserved.
