I have sent a letter to my Representative and my Senators telling them to enforce Section 3 of the 14th amendment. A Federal lawsuit may follow.
Dear Senators and Congressperson:
I am writing to all of you requesting that you make a serious effort to use your powers of office to enforce Section 3 of the 14th amendment.
As a condition for holding office, you have taken an oath to protect the Constitution. Our Constitution is being grievously violated with insurrectionist supporters — and people who have provided aid and comfort to insurrectionists — illegally holding elective office in State and Federal governments.
In accordance with your oaths of office, I believe you are required to use the powers delegated to you by the people you represent, to deny illegal officeholders any powers reserved for legal officeholders. Options available to you include proposing and fighting for legislation to enforce the Constitutional demands of Section 3 of the 14th amendment, to speak out on the floor of the legislative body you serve, requesting that votes of illegitimate officeholders NOT be counted, and forcefully arguing that illegal officeholders should NOT be recognized to speak. Or, you may come up with other appropriate measures to meet your duties to defend the Constitution.
