The original contains the full text, but it’s visually a little dull…
The original flyer for A Climate Declaration (a statement intended to launch and grow a new worldwide climate movement by adults to assist the existing one founded by children) has the complete text and the URL. I intend to continue posting it on telephone polls and elsewhere — and I urge you to do the same.
But I’m not yet satisfied. At nearly 400 words, it’s nicely compact for a Declaration, but pretty dense for a flyer. People probably won’t read more than a paragraph or two outside and, if we’re lucky, they’ll remember the URL and check it out later.
This latest flyer doesn’t contain the whole text — just a single quote. It’s still not brilliant graphically, but it gives people something to do immediately with their smart phones to acquire and save material about the Declaration. Using QR codes — which have become particularly popular for restaurant menus in our Age of Covid — people can quickly and easily scan and store the flyer, the URL or the Declaration itself. Perhaps all three.
