A Society That’s Hostile To The Well-Being and Very Survival of All We Hold Dear
We will embody the opposite and turn this around.
Our leaders are lost and they are destroying us.
It’s true that some are simply psychopaths, obsessed with money and power. And others are ideologues, hypnotized by concepts and principles that have no grounding in reality.
And many more of them than you think honestly believe that what they are doing is good and necessary. They are not evil, but what they are doing is evil. They are creating unnecessary suffering and committing ecocide. We must stop them. But we must not vilify or harm them or dehumanize them.
We must dis-empower them and put sane, competent and caring people into leadership positions. We must modify or replace systems and rules that encourage greed and selfishness and cruelty with better ones that welcome the opposite.
We must personally try to embody the changes we want to see in the world.
What’s the Vision?
Our group, The Saners, has as it’s key objective one clear demand:
We demand an immediate worldwide emergency program, led by climate scientists, to end fossil fuels, end climate abuse and repair our planet.
