A universal basic income—one that provides a livable income—would do it. We won’t see that happen as long as big money controls policy via K Street and lobbyists.

This would “free” greedy people to acquire more wealth, but not at the cost of desperate labor. People would no longer be dehumanized as mere “human resources.”
