Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
This isn’t the first time you’ve been warned. You were warned decades ago. You were warned by climate scientists. Repeatedly. 15,000 of them. Some of you who pretend to be “leaders” said you were listening. You were lying.
And so here we are.
Got Away With Something?
You’re a pretty confident bunch. You think you got away with something? Think again.
The climate is collapsing as predicted. As you were warned. It’s happening catastrophically, in plain view for all to see. Your impotence and unwillingness — even NOW! — to take decisive positive action is obvious to everyone except the most dull-witted ideologue.
As leaders, you will soon be done. You will be reviled even by your own children. You have betrayed them for wealth and power. The prestige and privilege you’ve enjoyed will dry up. You will have nowhere to hide.
You will be held accountable. Fortunately, we are not like you. We are not cruel, selfish, short-sighted or vindictive.
Because among sane people — and we are the sane because we recognize the obvious truth of the situation — our Christians actually listen to Jesus. Our humanists are humane. Whatever our religions or ideologies, we are caring people.
