Just a few quick notes about what’s happening with A Climate Declaration
It’s been a week since the launch of A Climate Declaration, a document designed to serve as a focal point for a worldwide movement demanding immediate and specific changes in how we go about repairing our abused Earth. I just wanted people who have been following, as well as newcomers (Welcome! Glad you are here!) to know the latest on what has been happening.
Along with the original Medium post, the Declaration simultaneously launched as a dedicated website. Today, a blog was added so people who don’t use Medium can keep up and participate in the movement.
At the site, anyone can download free copies of A Climate Declaration, suitable for posting publicly on walls or telephone polls or anywhere they can be seen. There’s also a mailer, so you can send one to your (useless) representative in Congress — or whatever public figure you care to inform that we are done with excuses for climate inaction.
I’ve personally posted numerous copies publicly, braving the heat because…well…that’s what’s required. I hope you will do the same.
