Action To Save the Earth for Our Children

Planned for September thru December 2022

Let’s work with youth groups to save the habitability of their Earth

An action is planned for the fall to “Occupy” schools and campuses worldwide. This is being organized by a youth climate group called End Fossil. The action itself is called End Fossil: Occupy!

Although this is a student and youth action, I think it’s useful and important for adults to attend and support these actions. It’s also an opportunity to jump start A Climate Declaration and have our budding adult climate movement join with the young.

In my city, I plan to post flyers with info on how to start an End Fossil! Occupy group so that a young person will know about it and be able to set one up. (Basically, I will post copies of one of the group’s official flyers with a note that says “Youth organizer needed!” If THAT works, I will attend the protest.
