Actually, I don't want to fix American democracy. The planet is too close to the climate disaster point of no return, and too much of the population has swallowed enough deadly propaganda poison to doom any American democracy even if one emerged.

We live in a plutocracy that is destroying the habitability of the planet. It must be removed and we need to declare a worldwide planet emergency, and put competent scientists and engineers in charging of fixing things—reporting to youg people who will guide the effort. Why young people? Because only they have the standing to legitimately be in charge. Their generaion will be inheriting the hellhole planet created by decades of failed adult leaders who should have been stopped much, much earlier.
