Amen. Our fear is what allows tyrants and bullies—all of whom are actually cowards—to run things. When we stand up, they run for their lives. That happened in the Arab Spring, in Eastern Europe, in the Soviet Union. It happened yesterday in Sri Lanka. It happens all the time. It now needs to happen worldwide to push out the morons who are literally destroying the Earth’s climate for profit. WE need to put scientists and engineers in charge of the biggest tech program in history—bigger than the Manhattan Project and Apollo combined.

We need to save the planet for the next generation. And we CAN do this. Those other unexpected events—with ordinary people taking control from suddenly weak thugs—can happen IF we chose to make them happen. Jettisoning our fear is the first step.
