And doing this, and ALLOWING them to do this is obviously literally INSANE!
Our leaders in business and government were warned 35 years ago when NASA climate scientists publicly told Congress about the impending disaster of global warming.
All of these leader failed to slash fossil fuel use and instead increased it. Now we are exactly where Hansen warned us we would be.
We cannot follow these leaders over the cliff. We must disobey and overwhelm them and take control.
We CAN do this. There is a method and a precedent for masses of ordinary people nonviolently taking control from "powerful" authorities. It's called satyagraha and it was used successfully by Gandhi, by Martin Luther King and by others.
WE have a demand:
We demand an immediate worldwide emergency program, led by climate scientists, to end fossil fuels, end climate abuse and repair our planet.
And we have a small but growing group to enforce this demand. All great movements begin with a small group.
