At an early age, I did a lot of temp work in NYC. I learned and saw for myself what powerful leaders are really like. I saw for myself that they are clueless fools.
This taught me much more than my college degree and my MBA combined.
I saw fools at huge banks making gigantic BAD loans that even I knew were bad loans. And they were hailed at geniuses until the sh!t hit the fan. I saw Wall Street titans strutting around like kings—until the market crashed and demonstrated for all to see that they knew nothing.
So, most of my life I've never been enthralled by "successful" people. If you are success in this society, chances are you are dead inside and a failure as a human being. External validation means nothing because those who might validate you are fools.
