But my mind never stops working.
Our group that plans to rescue humanity from it’s idiocy, The Saners, is making some good progress. We have a fine, proven strategy — although it needs refining and details must be filled in. We are developing the kind of culture that helps movements win broad support. We have begun setting up committees to focus on certain aspects of our movement.
Most of all, we have a compelling cause: we plan to stabilize our endangered climate and establish a sustainable and humane society. In the wake of our darkest moment, our self-inflicted existential crisis, we strive to create a self-actualized humanity — one that lives in harmony with Nature and each other.
We are not intimidated or fooled by naysayers. The people who change the world are always ridiculed by skeptics. But it’s always small numbers of passionate people who change the world. The rest, ultimately, either join in, or ignore it. The opposition has no chance against what will be come a huge number of people determined to protect their children and our common planet.
This will remain in my heart for the rest of March and, indeed, for the rest of my life. I will be traveling through the end of the month. My best ideas come when I take a break, when I am distracted. Going on vacation is like shaving — the aha! moments come while I’m…
