Brilliant. The Saners—a climate movement I’m associated with, has never officially used Twitter or Facebook and is centered on its own website and long form media like Medium.

Abandoning those awful abusive platforms helps disempower them. The reputations of X and Facebook will continue to decline and ultimately all respectable people and organizations will abandon them.

Being on those platforms will be seen as the equivalent of attending a Klan meeting. Which is exactly what they have become.
