But these “primitive” groups didn’t lionize greed as a virtue. They took care of the young, the elderly and anyone who couldn’t “contribute.” Our values as a society are sick. People are valued only insofar as they can produce additional wealth for the greedy unproductive and amoral few who essentially run our so-called civilization.

The so-called primitive s had shorter lives and less stuff. But they had leisure and human relationships. Their lives weren’t wasted enriching a-holes and staring at their phones.

We need to rebuild our civilization from scratch, creating one that values human life snd Nature. Then we can have quality lives and NOT destroy the planet that sustains us.
