C02 emissions are at record levels and increasing. That is the relevant fact—the leaders and systems have been failing consistently for decades.

Markets are no solution—oil is profitable and saving the climate is unprofitable.

And WTF—we can only save the Earth’s climate IF IT’s PROFITABLE?

Funny how the Allied invasion of France at Normandy didn’t need to be profitable. Nor did the building of the atomic bomb.

If we care about something, WE DO IT. Clearly, our leaders and our economic system are incompatible with survival because they value only money, not life.

To trust the market—one of the forces that brought us to this point and continues rushing us to even greater disaster, would be insane.
