Carbon credits are a financial scheme allowing the wealthy to continue destroying the climate by paying others to reduce their carbon footprints.
Do we really need to incentivize people to NOT destroy the habitability of their children's planet? If we actually cared, wouldn't we CHOOSE to slash C02 emissions and replace all fossil fuels as quickly as possible with clean energy?
Or would we have a planetary program bigger than the Manhattan Project and Apollo combined to stabilize the Earth's damaged climate—costs be damned because WE CARE ABOUT LIFE?
