Carbon offsets are simply permission (for sale) allowing wealthy corporations to continue abusing the biosphere. Markets will finish off destroying the climate if we continue empowering plutocrats.

We need a whole new system. Minor reforms will never do it. Anyone who is aware of the scope and scale of the crisis can easily see this.
