Cheney looks good to some people because the bar for decency had been lowered to the point that it's underground.

To be opposed to a violent government overthrow by fascists is considered saintly now...instead of mere human decency.

The fact is Cheney DOES look good compared to most members of her party. But that doesn't mean much.
