Senator Marsha Blackburn/Bill Hagerty
Senate Address
Washington, D.C. 20510

Dear Senator Blackburn/Hagerty,

Do you know that much of the Mississippi River is bone dry? Near Memphis, it’s barely a puddle. In fact, 80% of the United States is heading into drought. This is not normal or a passing phase. This is the results of the catastrophic failure of leaders like you, in both parties, who continue to ignore the climate crisis.

We can continue burning fossil fuels and commits the unforgivable crime of destroying the habitability of the Earth our children will inherit. Or we can make an effort to reverse course and do the responsible thing.
The only question is: DO YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN?

Don’t answer this letter. Your actions going forward will provide the answer.

Sincerely yours,

Ray Katz
