Dan—you are exactly right. We can and must act. Defeatism plays into the hands of our adversaries. In fact, people who love their children and care about the Earth outnumber the fools in positions of authority, millions to one.

As the climate collapse continues, we will throw the jerks out and put young climate activists along with scientists and engineers in control—and make an all out effort to stabilize the climate.

But we need to speed things up. Make noise. Make demands. Dismiss the excuses because the excuses are pernicious bullcrap—the phrase to use is "blah, blah, blah."

Demand that failed leaders resign immediately. I'm not kidding. You think you are powerless, but you are wrong. It's the VISIBILITY of massive latent resistance that enable the cruel, clueless failures to destroy our children's planet. I know I won't let that happen. And there are probably billions like me.
