Disillusioned Trumpers Are STILL Trumpers. They Only Care About Themselves.
Trumpism is, at its core, a complete rejection of the humanity of others. Absolute selfishness.
I don’t believe in wasting a moment of my life talking about Trump with Trumpers. Really, I see no point in talking about the Orange Menace or his supporters at all.
This essay is a rare exception.
My focus was, is and always will be on positive change and harnessing nonviolent people power to build a humane and sane and deeply caring civilization.
But I’m taking a moment here to explain how “the other side” fits into all this.
I’ve Heard Enough
We know all about Trumpism. It’s narcissism. It’s selfishness. It’s greed. It’s cruelty. It’s a never-ending series of excuses for cruelty, and never-ending series of lies and fantasies that attempt to push aside reality itself.
Reality will not be pushed aside. And we are done listening to nonsense.
The climate is collapsing. The new administration is fascist and attempting to consolidate power and crush everyone. It will fail because WE will not cooperate, and “strongmen” do nothing except give orders.
