Massing in the streets should do it, but if not…
The planet is at Code Red and idiots (or thugs) in positions of formal power continue to kick Mother Earth while she’s down. That’s no way to treat our Mother and we are going to make it stop.
That’s the plan as outlined in the framework for climate action called A Climate Declaration.
I envision making the change to clean energy beginning with removal of current failed leaders and systems by massing in the streets — Soviet collapse-style. In fact, I’m working hard to make sure that the transition from abusing the Earth to nursing her back to health is as smooth as possible. At this late date it won’t be easy.
Plan A
The people who (for the moment) run things hate when the people they rule (while pretending to “serve”) assert themselves. Too bad for them. They have given us no choice.
Ridiculously, leaders in every major industrial power continue to defend fossil fuels, expand their use, stall on clean energy and pretend that making some fake targets for 2050 is “doing something.” We are neither fooled, nor amused.
