Electric cars are better than gasoline fueled cars IF all of our energy is produced by renewable energy. The critical action is replacing every energy SOURCE with clean energy.

Of course, if every office worker worked from home and commuting was ended, that would make a serious dent is fossil fuel use. And we wouldn't be heating and cooling those useless office buildings.

So far, we're too stupid to do even that—we serve the egos and greed of the billionaires who engorge on all the wealth WE produce. And go along with whatever they demand. That must stop NOW.

I have never owned a car. I live in a walkable city and walk everywhere. Occasionally, I rent a car. But everyone can't do that. So we need to simply stop using fossil fuels to produce energy. We know how.
