Even here, we’ve got people who think it’s too expensive to save the planet from climate destruction and that we should let our species die because it makes economic sense. Similarly, comprehensive public healthcare, which most other first world countries have had for decades, should not be available to us because of the cost. It’s cheaper to let us go bankrupt and/or die.

That raises the question: if OUR tax dollars are not used to HELP US, then WTF is a government good for?
