Forced Birthers

We do ourselves and our species a disservice when we use benign terms invented by cruel people to mask their evil acts. So it is with the term “pro-life.”

Let us pledge, from this day forward, to NEVER use that term again. (While we are at it, please also ditch “climate change.”) We should instead use the term “forced birthers.” To be honest, even that term sounds too benign to me. After all, we are talking about extreme misogynists who want to essentially remove “personhood” from all women and transfer that status to a clump of cells possessing neither a brain nor a heart.

Much like the forced birthers themselves.

I would be so happy if, as a species, we’d repeal forced birtherism and remove all abusers of women and of the planet from positions of authority, permanently. As it stands, two abusers of women (one of whom seems to have been a frat boy rapist) are sitting on the SCOTUS along with one Handmaiden.

I’d love to see widespread use of the Lysistrata tactic — women everywhere withholding sex from men until men learn to behave properly. I wouldn’t limit this to targeting only men who are guilty of enacting or supporting force birtherism. I would include all men because I believe all men should put the maximum effort into speedily reversing this outrage.
