Frankly, I'm sick of identifying people as Palestinian People and Israeli (or Jewish) People.
Ultimately, we are all just PEOPLE. That's it. To the degree that identities improve lives, we can embrace them. But when they are turning into excuses for hatred and violence, that's time to get rid of nationalities and ideologies and and just learn empathy.
I'm from a Jewish family. But I've never identified myself by that. When I had a job application that asked my "race" I refused to check any boxes. I wrote in "human." Frankly, that's a group I'm not too proud of being a member of lately. I hope for that to change.
