Gasoline cars are a key reason for climate destruction. EVs are not the solution but they are a PART of the solution. The key is to shut down the use of fossil fuels and replace them with clean renewable energy.

Despite noisy complaints and excuses for not doing this, that’s the bottom line truth. Our children and grandchildren will struggle to survive on an Earth with a collapsed climate. We can argue and rationalize but the truth is the truth.

Ideology is meaningless when it comes to Nature. You can “win” the argument; your children will still die.
