Gen Z can be difficult employees because they are IN TOUCH WITH REALITY. They don't live in the imaginary world you describe, with low inflation and lots of jobs. They live in a world where housing and food and essential things have skyrocketed in cost, and salaries have not.

They live in a world where they have no authority but are blamed for all the problems. They see so-called responsible adults focused on maximizing shareholder returns—while pumping gigatons of C02 into the air and boiling the planet.

They see CEOs and bosses who will be conveniently dead when they inherit the planet that their elders destroyed.

I'm a baby boomer and I'm amazed at the self-control of Gen Z given the BS they are being forced to swallow.

When the people in positions of authority recognize the crisis that THEY are making worse, and decide to work with Gen Z and everyone else to rescue the planet, THEN things will change.

That is the path forward—shareholders and customers be damned.
