GOP Losing Big In PA Due To Stance on Public Education

This is an analysis that you never hear from TV pundits because it’s not endorsed by the weasels at the American Petroleum Institute.

The state of Pennsylvania has more than 100,000 public school teachers. Beyond that, how many voters in the state send their kids to public school? Millions.

Yet, this pivotal electoral prize is being sacrificed by GOP strategists who have decided that gutting public schools is fine. They’re concentrating on—and you are NOT going to believe this!—fracking!!!

Yes, the perhaps 26,000 jobs even RELATED to fracking (because it’s much less than that if we only talk about actual fracking jobs), is what they expect to put those 19 electoral votes in the Red Column. That’s less than half a percent of the total number of jobs in the state.

Even the Harris campaign has been taken in by this crap! In 2020, Harris had pushed for a fracking ban. Her current campaign is absolutely NOT calling for that policy. This leaves the Harris/Walz campaign free to go after those few thousand rural Pennsylvania voters.

Huh. I would have thought that most rural Pennsylvania voters who work in the oil industry were already in the Trump cult and not up for grabs, whatever policy the Democrats decide on.
