Governor Inslee, I genuine appreciate your efforts and concern for the climate. However, this government—and every government on Earth—has failed and continues to fail catastrophically in their most basic responsibility: to hand over a habitable Earth to the next generation.
Sane people can no longer trust or cooperate with these governments which, if they continue to control policy, will doom our children. Those of us who are sane and caring—and there are at least a billions people on Earth—can and must grind business as usual to a halt.
Young climate activists must be put in charge. A worldwide climate emergency must be declared, and policies worldwide must be guided by climate scientists. There is no alternative.
