Hello! Hey, thanks for trying! As you probably already recognize—neither politics nor protest alone provides a solution.

We need an EFFECTIVE movement. We have a number of climate activist groups and nearly all are noble, and some are more effective than others. But nobody seems to have hit the mark.

We are trying something different. Our group is called The Saners and we are at WeAreSaners.org. We are somewhat new and only have a few hundred members. But what makes us different is that we intend to learn from the successful movements (and the unsuccessful ones!) of the past.

We are students of movements, and we believe our strategies and tactics—if we can must the number of activists and generate the energy—can succeed where others have not. it's not that we are geniuses—I most certainly am not. But we can READ and LEARN from brilliant people who went before: Gandhi, King, Cesar Chavez—and hey, check out CANVAS founded by a couple of former Serbian college students who ousted a dictator!
