Hey, Eric Clapton has said some stupid things and he’s still a great guitar player.

Even the best of us are an ass at times. Criticize the stupid words (or actions), but also recognize that people do good and bad things.

And yeah, it’s disappointing for Cleese to join a right wing network. But he’s funny as hell and has enriched millions of lives.
