Hi, Aunty Jean!

This movement may or may not succeed but it is emphatically NOT blaming ordinary people for the climate abuse being committed by Big Oil and others.

We recognize that powerful and wealthy interests are responsible.

We intend to stop them. We plan to use nonviolent noncooperation—as Gandhi and others did—to stop them by crippling and shutting down their operations. And we recognize systems based on greed and violence and bigotry must be disobeyed and ended—so we are also about a culture of love.

This is not new. It’s Gandhi. It’s King. It’s Cesar Chavez. It’s inspired and guided by principles that made other movements win their battles.

Did the video really come across as blaming us? My intent was to point out that ordinary people have the power to stop Big Oil and others.

I need to review that video! Thanks for watching, reading and commenting.
