Hi! I discuss degrowth elsewhere. Yes, I personally think that a smart and necessary part of the plan—in large part because it’s easier to do less destructive things than to, for example, gear up clean energy.

I do not have the expertise to devise a detailed plan, however, so the Saners are pushing for a program led by climate scientists, assisted by young climate activists, and helped by whoever the program leaders would like to help.

Surely degrowth, along with shutting fossil fuel operations, would all be a part of this huge project.
