Hi! I've tried other long form platforms and I still prefer Medium. It's easy to use and I love that I can have my stories read back to me before I publish them.

I admit I'm hedging my bets, I post a lot to my own websites and even, sometimes, to other long-form platforms.

But there's something congenial about Medium. I've quit Twitter and Facebook—years ago—because they are hostile places.

And yes, there's disagreement, but mostly difference of opinion—not personal attacks.

I try to be my best here, and I'm largely meeting my own standards. I could do better. ;-)

Anyhow, thanks Tony, for whatever you are doing that makes this place work. I'm enjoying reading and writing here. And I'd like to think I'm having a positive impact on the world.
