Hi! You are right that much of the public is change resistant. As I’ve been pointing out, whatever their desires, decision makers do what THEY want.

As far as “our economies are too complex” to quickly stop using fossil fuels, I respectfully disagree. On many occasions, major change has occurred extremely quickly.

Look how quickly, for example, smart phones became nearly universal. Or for that master, look at the astonishing speed that the Soviet empire fell. Or even that COVID vaccines were developed and distributed.

I agree about complexity. Sending people to the moon with 1960a technology was complex.

Scientists and engineers are smart and they do complex things.
