Hi! You may (or may not!) be interested in our group, called The Saners.

We believe it's literally insane to grievously damage the ecosphere of the planet we all live on. We are non-violent activists (in the Gandhian tradition) with a very specific approach that separates us from other climate groups. (BTW - we LOVE the other climate groups! We believe all efforts are helpful!)

1. We intend to declare a worldwide climate emergency ourselves. Leaders everywhere have failed to take even this easy, obvious and essential step.

2. We are working to assemble a group of experts, led by climate scientists, to develop a preliminary emergency plan. Unlike the IPCC scientists, we intend ours to be empowered to ACT, and not just be toothless advisors to useless world leaders.

3. We will actively support the emergency plan (which will be built out fully over time, to expand on the preliminary plan.) We will ask governments and corporations to fully support it, and we will boycott and in other ways NOT cooperate or support governments and institutions that fail to fully support the emergency plan.

4. We will be effective in crippling the actions of climate abusers because we will follow the proven strategies of Gandhi and other successful activists in history.
