Hmmm. I’m guessing you are “libertarian” and therefore interpret the Constitution that way. We disagree and that’s fine.

In my view, any government that doesn’t look after the well-being of its citizens is a bad government. Your interpretation of the U. S. constitution would put our country in that category.
