Honestly, it’s a waste of time to look at anyone’s “pledges”—whether corporate or government.

Plans and pledges mean nothing and cynicism is more than justified.

This isn’t a new problem—we’ve all known about it for decades. I can only conclude the obvious—that people in powerful corporate positions are unable within the systems they work to make they changes needed for our species to survive. This is giving them the benefit of the doubt—I’m assuming they care.

Wake me up when and if these people change their ways in light of the increasingly obvious doom that surrounds us all.

We’d be much better off if the author of this article was in charge of things than the incompetent boobs running corporations and governments.
