How about going 100% all out with actual renewable energy. Solar and wind are cheaper than fossil fuels and nuclear. If we do that first—like NOW—we can assess if we want to also spend a decade to two on more expensive nuclear, while still unable to run them safely of dispose of used deadly fuel.
