How Cruel Would You Be For a 6-Figure Salary? What about 7?

Would you kill your children? Maim them? Kill the neighbor’s kids? Kill some strangers?

Quiet quitting always struck me as a good idea. Why work hard for people who are trying to get the maximum labor from you for the lowest possible price? Under our economic system, working people and capitalists are enemies. It’s nothing personal. The capitalist would be the first to tell you that, while he’s got armed guards escorting you out of the building with your belongings in a cardboard box.

But is quiet quitting enough? I would say no. I would say it’s time for some noisy quitting.

Noisy Quitting Has Begun

People have always quit their jobs and those who could afford to have fired some verbal attacks at their employer on the way out. But these have always been people who are virtually guaranteed to land on their feet.

Enter Caroline Dennett. She had been doing work for Shell Oil and that must have been her most lucrative client. Shell was promoting its plan to go green, to become environmentally responsible. And Caroline was a safety consultant, loyal and hard-working. But as it turns out, Shell was lying about becoming environmentally responsible.
