Humans WILL Stop Destroying The Earth. The Only Question Is “How” and “When.”
Let’s not pretend that we don’t have a choice. We do. Right now, we are making the wrong choice. Let’s change that.
There is a reassurance in either trusting existing leaders and systems to do the right thing, or in giving up. Either way lets people sleep (although a bit fitfully) right through the apocalypse.
I’m planning to disturb your sleep. Just as (at least in the movies), you talk to a dying man and force him to walk to save him from that final permanent visit to the sandman, I’m going to disturb your current slumber.

Commitment to A Non-Existent “Option”
The existing leaders and systems are committed to more of the same, with some cosmetic changes. This isn’t reality. This is impossible. This is an attempt to defy Nature Herself and the Laws of Physics and Chemistry and Biology and, especially, Ecology.
As you know, our leaders — everywhere — have failed to even declare a climate emergency. They have not developed a science-based plan. They have not slashed CO2 emissions sharply, as they were clearly warned to do, decades ago.
