I absolutely and passionately agree. There are a number of severe problems with our system. Perhaps the biggest is that our politics is flooded with corporate money and lobbyists.

The other is that various media are encouraging people’s worst instincts. This is true of most social media and also of much “news” media. Angry people watch longer and generate more revenue so both the system and the voters are being twisted in a damaging way for financial gain.

I think these can potentially be countered by people getting together as small communities and developing/establishing alternative ways.

We need to both create alternatives and expose/disrupt the biggest flaws in our current systems.

I’m working on this, with a climate focus. The challenges can be daunting, but I’m a patent person.
