I agree. But we overestimate them. They are not competent to deal with what comes next. They are servants of gigantic corporations who are dismembering the Earth for personal gain. They’ll fold into the fetal position and cry like babies when they get hit with the fires, the heat waves and the killer storms. When their entire scheme collapses and nobody respects them, we will finally have the opportunity to fix their mess.

But it might be too late.
