I agree that Biden shouldn’t say such things. But I don’t worry much about it. Hey, Khrushchev said “we will bury you” and he didn’t fire any missiles during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Word can be dangerous but, at the same time, words are still not actions. As long as the other parties aren’t immature idiots, we’ll probably be okay. At least with respect to reaction to words.

On the other hand, when “leaders” are immature children (and, as we are seeing, the children are the mature adults we’ve been missing), that’s a whole other story.
