I agree that the capitalist system can’t be trusted to fix this problem. But neither can China or Russia. I’m way on the left, but nearly everyone in a position of power under every system is complicit in the destruction of the climate. Extraction and greed and undeserved power and wealthy EVERYWHERE must be defeated. Let’s expose all this sh!t every day. Look, the Soviet Union looked all powerful until the day it collapsed.

Capitalism and totalitarianism and all short-sighted power grabbing systems need to go. We need to focus on going around or defeating or exposing the crimes of these systems and NAMED PEOPLE within them—like fossil fuel CEOs—and say, no, you don’t get to be in charge of anything anymore. You are done. We love our children and our planet and you are DONE.
