I agree. The special election in Alabama, with the Democrat trouncing the GOP candidate in a district Trump carried is a bellwether. The Democrat ran on the issue of women’s reproductive rights—and won by a margin of 25 points! In Alabama!

I believe that women everywhere are (justifiably) hopping mad about Dobbs and about the cruel misogyny of the GOP. A huge number of women will turn out to punish the GOP. Women have powerful reasons to punish the GOP.

Trump talks about revenge—but he won’t be meting it out; he’ll be on the receiving end…along with the rest of the GOP. Look for a blue wave. Better yet, make it happen with your votes and encouraging others to turn out and make the GOP disappear.

This Sanders Democrat understands the situation and will do what’s required. Yeah, Biden compromises on things that don’t allow for compromise—like the climate—but we’ll deal with that during the 2nd Biden administration. First, let’s work together to crush the selfish, stupid and cruel right-wing extremists.
