I agree. There aren’t enough people challenging the fossil fuel profiteers and planet destroyers in an effective way. Not yet. But how many people love their children enough to make an effort IF they knew what to do that had a REAL chance of working? I’d say billions.

It’s not like the present course is an option. Whether or not we do anything, this system will collapse. It’s unsustainable. But we can stop the climate collapse and replace the current system—which only values greed and not life or nature—with something better.

Can’t be done? The people in power are too powerful? Ask the Raj who lost to Gandhi’s supporters. Ask the segregationists in the American South. Ask Mubarak. Ask Milosevic. Ask Jaruzelski. Ask Ceaușescu.

History shows that ordinary people can defeat power. Furthermore, history provides a blueprint. Alas, not a formula…it’s more complex than that. But it’s doable.

We intend to put climate scientists in charge of a worldwide emergency program to effectively meet the climate crisis. You can bet against us. Or you can help. No offense taken if you choose not to. It DOES look daunting.
